Erina Nakiri, Shokugeki no Soma (Food Wars)

Erina: Today's dish theme is egg, you can make anything you want as long as it have egg in it, Yukihira Souma.
Yukihira: Oh, i was worried, I thought you may fail me before I even got to cook.
Some time later after Yukihira finish cooking the dish.....
Erina: So what manner of complicated dish would this be?
Yukihira: Seasoning with rice!
Erina: What?! Cut the crap, what a waste of my time!
Yukihira: But this is no ordinary seasoning, it's rice with transforming seasoning!(Erina stare at him in disbelieve)
Yukihira: And now for the finishing touch, as he drop the orange jelly looking thing onto the dish(Erina notice that the dish start to change)

Erina: The jelly, its melting... from the rice's heat, and it's coating the egg. And what's that aroma?...Chicken?
Erina: The fragrant, mellow aroma of chicken that's been simmered slowly over time. That's what wafting through the air? So, this is what transforming seasoning with rice looks like, it looks completely different from before? Erina then took a bite of the new dish. 
Erina: Uhhhhhh!!!!! it's aspic, isn't it.
Yukihira: Bingo! The squares are aspic from the chicken wing tip. Aspic is formed when meat or fish broth with high gelatin content congeals into jelly. I simmered the wing tip with bonito stock, sake and light soy sauce. Once it cooled and solidified, I then finely chopped the aspic and sprinkle it over the hot rice and then it melts and the gelatin broth coats the egg soboro.
Erina: And since the aspic is a rich soup infuse with the umami of the chicken, it's rich flavor of this broth enhance the fluffy egg's sweetness and it elevate the egg to an entirely new heights. It's unlike anything that I've eaten before, it's an entirely new world of flavor!

Hi there, this piece is called Erina Nakiri from the manga or anime called Shokugeki no Soma or in English title knew as Food Wars. In the show, Erina is known as master chef for her ability for identify new ways to make the finest cuisine with her god tongue in the culinary industry. And then you have Yukihira Souma, who was the son of a very well known chef and was sent to this culinary school to sharpen his skill to become the top world class culinary chef. As he begin in this school, he was met with many new challenges and he must find ways to over come each new threat before force to be kick out of the school. In one episode he even have to cook a new dish to satisfied a chef that never smile and have known to fail more then half of students in his class because he's also a high world class chef who's expect nothing but the best of the best. This anime have been over look and down grade by some anime reviewers on youtube and some even call it food porn due to some fan service scene. But the way I see it, it's what it teaches on the inside that is what really matters, sure it have some fan service, but what popular anime nowadays don't have that. And I always find something new for cooking tips to learn when I watched each new episodes. So other then the light fan service within the show, in return I highly recommend this anime to viewers who are not only hungry for fan service, but hungry for new knowledge for cooking tips as well.  Anyway, it's still summer and it sure have been a long while since the last time I update anything on here
